Most recent updates to the SCS 3.0 vehicles. Rez your vehicle out to get the update. If you accidentally declined the update you have to wait an hour to try again.

UPDATES

NEW UPDATES: 11/06/14

SCS AV Meter Version 3.4: (Mostly done by Conrad who has taken over SCS AV Meter development!)
• Added SCS COMM button on the HUD, complete sim-wide SCS communication system
• Added new button for entire AT swim menu system on the HUD
    • Swimming also works in AT open sourced Prim Water
• Changed entire fly warning code, you will now be frozen in place until you turn fly off (No more suicide)
• Updated fall damage, all new code for more consistent damage
• Fixed jumping, more controlled, less random
• Moved unused buttons on the HUD into a "More Options" dialog
    • Added option to view and clear your website SCS stats directly from the dialog
• Make medal sounds play when you click on your earned medals
• Fixed small issue with kill tracking on certain AV's
• Fixed health being able to go above max health

HOTFIX Version 3.41:
• Added speed setting to swim menu
• Made default swim speed faster
• Fixed up jumping code to work better on slopes

 

NEW UPDATES: 10/02/14

SCS
• Fixed major SCS loading issue, now it is EVEN faster loading also!
• Reworked collision code for SCS to SCS impacts
    • Collisions are much more realistic now and do significantly more damage
        • Elk can PLOW through an ATV
        • Vehicle of similar matched size can not plow through each other
    • Collisions with static objects has been reworked and all around better
    • Removed "Collide Density" from config file as it is no longer used
• Kept SCS version number the same (3.4) but vehicles have new versions

VEHICLES
• Switched back to 'Advanced Control' for default
• Reworked entire brake code, you can stop very well now
• HEAT System will only play warning tone when its above 80% now instead of 70%
• Fixed heat generating while braking bug
• Toned stress sounds way down, also added option to disable them all together in the config file
• Fixed issue where new control setting in the config file didn't even work

ATV
• Turning SCS OFF will disable the ATV forcing you to unsit if you flip over
• Fixed issue where advanced control would step through 2 speeds at once
• Fixed animations getting stuck on

SABRE / SCORPION
• Sabre and Scorpion turn a little slower (They turned really fast last update)

GEKKOS
• Turning radius on the Gekko was increased (It was broken from last update)
• Fixed texture flicker problem on some pieces (Added model to cover the flicker areas)

 

 NEW UPDATES: 9/29/14

SIM CROSSING CARGO AND TRAILERS!
• All cargo scripts and trailers can now CROSS SIMS!
    • Use caution when using this new feature it still needs some work
    • In general you should try to drive straight, slow and steady to avoid any issues
• Thanks very much to 'Conrad Aluveaux Reyener' for pretty much making the whole sim crossing system!

NEW VERSION SCS 3.4 UPDATES
• All new loading system
    • Modable 'Config' script now takes place of the old notecard system
    • Near instant load times (1-3 vs old 10-20 seconds)
• Optimizations and combining all SCS scripts into 2 files (Vehicles & NPCS)
• Fixed up fire extinguisher code to only increase health if your in the red
• Made health script ignore negative damage
• Added in extra kill tracking stat data (For future use)

SCS VEHICLE GUN UPDATES
• Added new particle effect trail on all bullets!
• Added aim to velocity on all bullets and explosives
• Made all bullet particles darker
• Made the machine gun bullets de-rez them selfs after a while

VEHICLE RELATED UPDATES
• Added brand new sounds for all vehicles
    • Realistic suspension sounds
    • Realistic stress sounds
• Redid entire steering code to make all vehicles turn with more rotational torque
    • Also fixed left/right not registering if you press multiple controls bug
• All vehicles now start in 'Basic Control Mode'
    • Basic mode now has brakes and better overall control
    • Display text changes in each mode
    • Added 'AdvControl' option inside the SCS notecard for what mode is rezzes in
    • You can switch back to 'Advanced Control Mode' using the menu or notecard
• Made everything disable vehicle parameters so they fall correctly if dropped from the cranes etc.
• Made fire extinguisher water particles stop randomly playing
• Changed how collision sounds are triggered and handled
• Tweaked some physics properties to reduce bounciness
• All vehicles now start up and shutdown a little faster
• Reduced control input delay from 0.4 to 0.2
• All vehicles default to 'Driving' camera now
• Made wheel texture animation less likely to glitch
• Removed the super gloss on the smoke/flares of some trucks

VEHICLE SPECIFIC UPDATES
ATV "SCS Rattler ATV"
• You now get unsit when you roll the ATV over and take SCS damage!
• Option to 'Flip Over' ATV now added in the main menu, anyone not sitting on the vehicle can access this special menu also
• Fixed up fire extinguisher particle effect
• Very strange mouselook zooming out bug will be fixed on SL's end in a future update (MAINT-4013 When seated, down arrow in mouselook exits mouselook.)

SMALL TRAILERS
• Made the trailers play the smolder sound when they are on fire
• Limited the collision sound on tank a bit

ELK / BULLDOG
• Made kill tracking stats work for dropping cargo held by the crane on anything
• Made fire on crane extinguish

SABRE / SCORPION
• Very strange mouselook zooming out bug will be fixed on SL's end in a future update (MAINT-4013 When seated, down arrow in mouselook exits mouselook.)

GATOR / RAPTOR
• Made wheels steer faster

PUMPKINMEN / SNOWMEN BATTLE
• SCS 3.4 updates added, near instant load times now!

MOOSE
- Fixed display text on equipment box not turning off with "TextOff"
- Fixed headlights glowing bug
- Cargo Script transfer perms

ELK
- Added Canvas cover like the MOOSE has!
- Added 'Speed' dialog option to change the overall speed of the crane 'Normal' and 'Faster'
- Fixed being able to drive before the support legs have fully retracted
- Fixed headlights glowing bug
- Made crane go clear when the whole truck blows up and rezzes death models

BULLDOG
- Added 'Speed' dialog option to change the overall speed of the crane 'Normal' and 'Faster'
- Fixed control flip issue while moving along the track, now uses the last key press to indicate direction of movement based on your current rotation
- Fixed mode light color bug where it wasn't showing the correct mode sometimes

NEW UPDATES: 4/7/14

HUGE SCS AV Meter system update!

This update effects the SCS AV Meter and all 3 guns that are sold for it!
(No update on the SCS Knife)

Version 3.37:
MAJOR ADDITIONS
• You now have a very high chance of surviving splash damage from explosive bullets/shells while hiding behind objects or indoors!
    • Added raycast checks within the AV Meter to see if you would actually get hit by splash damage or not. (Works about 80% of the time because of crap SL physics)
• When an AV dies they will now drop items!
    • 40% chance to drop a mini SCS Health Pack!
    • 10% chance to drop a mini SCS Armor Pack!
    • All SCS Guns will drop mini SCS Ammo Packs if the AV who died had a weapon equipped, they give you a random number of ammo. (Wear your SCS Guns to get their updates)
• Added new line "Swap Controls" in the "SCS 3.37 AV Meter Setup" notecard located inside the HUD. This is used if you would like E to be jump and C to be melee instead of the default.

GUNS
• Made fire effect turn off if you die on the SCS AR-10 Assault Rifle.
• Fixed ammo counter display on the SCS LR-Lancer, its now full-bright.
• Made SCS LR-Lancer fire slower in 3 round burst mode.
• Fixed ammo counter on death with the SCS LR-Lancer.
• Made rockets aim into its velocity on the SCS LR-Lancer.

BUG FIXES
• Actually made the animation flags work in the weapon scripts, you can now disable the up and down bending animation if it conflicts with your AO.
• Made the "1", "2", "3" HUD buttons only click-able if your actually wearing an item.
• Made the Meter send out TeamName and TeamColor information to the website stats.
• Fixed issue where after jumping the animation would keep playing.
• Made fall damage more consistent. Tweaked code for stepping vs jumping off edges.
• Updated "GO TO STORE" button on the HUD to actually work now.
• You will no longer teleport back to spawn if you start flying, you will just get a suicide.

CODE CHANGES FOR 3RD PARTY WEAPON DEVS
• Code changes inside the gun scripts, if you sell 3rd party guns you can add these changes (Optional for dropping ammo on death):
    • Add in either "SCS Mini Ammo Box" or "SCS Mini Explosives Box" into your guns contents.
    • Copy/Paste in the spawn_ammo() event on top aswell as add in the line spawn_ammo(); into the top of "DIED" listen message event.
    • Copy/Paste the entire ammo "Resupply event" in the listen.
    • Multiple code changes to add in smoke particles, please review the scripts to find them if you'd like to add them to your own guns.

NEW UPDATES: 3/30/14

SCS AV Meter got a small update to fix several bugs and tweaks, Put the meter on the get the update!

Version 3.36:
- MAJOR teleport bug fixed. You should not be killed during SCS ON anymore.
- Made options panel open and close faster.
- Changed "Combat Permission" to FALSE by default. (You don't TP right when you accept permissions)
- Adjusted default transparency from 1.0 to 0.8.
- Physically moved up the AV Meter prim on your AV so it doesnt block your SL nametag so much.

Also a small Sabre updates and tweaks to go along with the launch of the new Scorpion Tank!

Version 2.01:
• Fixed it so engine heat will cool off if you exit the vehicle
• Physics shape on main body set back to prim
• Added some more protection (increased some prims hotspot defense)
• Removed specular from smoke and flare faces
• Increased overall traction for hill climbing

NEW UPDATES: 2/16/14

New updates to only the Sabre version 2.0:
• Major New Features -
    - New realistic HEAT system added.
        - Engine can now break upon extended high temperature usage.
        - New sounds and effects.
        - If you are overheating simply switch into Low gear, turn off Overdrive, or just stop the vehicle to cool it off!
            - This system is effected by many things including water, damage, speed, wheel slippage, amp usage, etc.
            - Temperatures above 100% start dealing SCS damage, above for 5 seconds will break engine.
            - Temperatures above 140% will blow up the vehicle.
        - Broken engine must be repaired with supply box to be fixed.
        - With SCS Combat Off you can not overheat the engine (Partially disabled).
    - Complete texture overhaul, all new diffuse, normal, specular, and gloss maps (Must be on a Material Viewer to see them)!
        - New fuel cell textures.
        - Re-did all the random control interface textures, fully animated high res realistic interfaces.
        - All new gauges and dashboard textures.
            - Added Battery gauge
            - Added Temp gauge
    - 10 new color sets with all new color change script.
        - Full texture set includes: Stock, Aquatic, Blaze, Lunar, Desert, Explorer, Utility, Stylish, Blizzard and Stealth.
        - Now it also supports unlimited custom named texture sets, just drag and drop!
    - Added muddy track system within the Customize > Tracks menu.
        - Tracks build up mud over usage.
        - Can be washed off driving through water.
        - Whole system can be turned off for city driving.

NEW UPDATES: 2/3/14 

 For Utility Supply Box Pack:

Version 2.02:
• Deployable Supply box changes to support new SCS ATV vehicle:
    •  Changed physics shape on deployable box to allow vehicles to drive through and park inside.
    • Added cargo follow system on deployable box, when the door is closed anything inside will start to follow the box.

For Gekko Transport Vehicles:

 Version 1.02:
• Back door not closing all the way after being repaired fixed.

NEW UPDATES: 10/12/13

To go along with the small trailer release I did another large update to ALL SCS 3.0 content check out the updates below!

EVERYTHING
*** NOTE "DEMO Trailer" was removed from several products because I launched a full line-up of new small trailers!
- New Cargo Follow Script v2.0
    - MAJOR code changes to work with the automatic load cargo code in vehicles.
        - Cargo will now auto rotate to fit on the bed, they will now also be repositioned to touch the floor, ANY ANGLE!
            - It is based on what angle you approach the cargo your trying to pickup.
    - Added velocity to the motion, GREATLY reduces clipping through doors and ramps while moving!
    - Re-worked motion code to be more efficient.
    - Added some features to support future vehicles.
    
ALL VEHICLES
- Small bug fix to all fuel cells v1.11 (Not the hand-held ones)
- Moved light code from machine guns to shell eject scripts to make them blink.
- All vehicles and trailers now display current privacy setting in the main and privacy menu's text.

RP SUPPLY BOX PACK
- Removed fire from Hydro explosions.
- Major code changes to how they work.
    - You can now click the tank again to stop filling. It will skip its current fill and move onto the next.
    - Other boxes will wait in line for their turn to avoid double filling.
- Reworked major code to check the distance based on the nozzle prims, not the root prim.
- Fixed bug where the tanks would empty faster then they should have when the hose is ripped off.
- Changed collision sound to the tank thud sound.
- Reworked the text a bit.

GRIZZER'S / SABRE / GEKKO'S / SEMI TRAILERS
- Major code changes
    - Trailers will now auto-reconnect. They fall off due to shitty SL physics.
    - Trailers ignore collision sound and damage between vehicle pulling them.
    - Made trailer hitch code compatible with new small trailers.
- Removed the "Function 1-3" buttons from the trailers and replaced with unique specific options per trailer!
    - Made the dialog function options from a vehicle sync up to specific options on each trailer it is pulling.
    - It will now display in the dialog text what options are synced up to the trailer.
- Renamed "Trailer Hitch" to "Trailer" in dialog menu.

GATOR
- Updated Gator solar collector to give off light.
- Add new texture/specular/normal/gloss materials to Gator solar collector.
- Made text on Gator disruptor turn off with customize.

GEKKO
- Adjusted the mesh behind the cab to be lower, now possible to see out the back in mouselook for backing up!

Multiple Updates: 9/24/13

Major update to the supply boxes as well as I just launched an ALL NEW RP Supply Box Pack this is NOT included in the Supply Pack update, so come grab one now for L$750!

SUPPLY BOXES
Version 2.0: (Skipped to 2.0 because of the new texture overhaul)
• Complete texture overhaul, all new diffuse, normal, specular, and gloss maps (Must be on a Material Viewer to see them)!
• Added light to all boxes.
• Added light to solar collector and tweaked up the effect code.
• Replaced physics shapes on supply box body so they can be picked up with a forklift in the future.

All SCS Vehicle Update: 9/16/13

All of the updates that are done to the Gekko 2.0 will eventually be rolled out to ALL my 3.0 ground vehicles, I will be doing them 1 by 1 with new products in between!

This is small/medium update for all the 3.0 ground vehicles with a portion of the Gekko 2.0 updates (not the textures or heat system yet)

Major New Features -
• Ability to change particles while driving now within the Customize > Wheels menu.

• New rearranged driving text shows battery %.

• Removed "3rd Party" from color menu, Samantha Glume will be discontinuing her 3rd party skin's shortly.

• Increased underwater performance from 10% to 25% (Possible to get out of water now in shallow areas).

Gekko's Version 2.01: 9/16/13

• Fixed physics shape bug on Gekko Assault door, preventing it from being driven into containers even with the turret stored.
• Fixed bullet shells that were not rezzing on the machine guns
• Fixed machine guns caught in loop if shooting while battery runs out.
• Added a "Box Of Extras" to the Gekko Utility, including some tool props you can link to the trucks bed.
• Small tweak to code on Gekko Utility canvas cover.
• Removed and replaced "3rd Party" with "Reload" to reload any new textures you've added.
    - Samantha Glume will be discontinuing her 3rd party skin's shortly.

Gekko's Version 2.0: 9/14/13

Largest update in Spyker Enterprise history! =O

All of these updates will eventually be rolled out to ALL my 3.0 ground vehicles, I will be doing them 1 by 1 with new products in between!

To get the most out of this update you should try out the new SL material viewer (Its the main SL client), coming to 3rd party soon. With it you can view the all new normal, specular, and gloss maps!

All SCS Vehicle Update: 8/12/13

• Added complete traction system
    • Wheels now spin based on engine RPM, not velocity
    • Spin your tires going up hills
    • Skid to a stop/down hills
    • Also features all new wheel sounds (in the trailers to)
• Added normal and spec maps to ALL wheels & tracks
• Added new "Behind" camera view to all vehicles
• Improved all vehicles brakes
• Updated all help dialogs to be said directly to user, not in local
• High/Low gear now effects engine sound, added another higher RPM sound to all vehicles
• Smoothed out all wheel texture animations at low speeds
• Fixed small light menu bug
• Fixed particles coming on while in mid-air
